“Faceback has been an incredible asset to the Funky Llama Festival, playing a huge part in breaking down social barriers for young people and adults with different abilities by enabling them to meet new people, interact with one another and have fun finding a familiar face in the crowd. It is accessible to use and the concept easy to understand. The Faceback team are welcoming and friendly, further enabling people at Funky Llama events to feel safe and able to be themselves.”
Sara Baldwin, Community Projects Producer, Theatre Royal Plymouth, Funky Llama
“It is a game, a detective agency, a dating service, a meeting point, a friendship circulation, a live Facebook, a socialising … it gives people stuff to do, it connects them, there are wonderful moments of joy when people find their face or someone else’s.”
Sue Palmer, Faceback at BAC
“Facebacks fantastic. I’m really enjoying it. I think its a fantastic concept, I think its amazingly simple, I think its amazingly transportable, and I think its unbelievably accessible.”
Paul Dungworth, Blast Theory Associate Artist, Penryn Arts Festival
“ Faceback! A spectacular community activity! Everyone is talking about it – all ages and faces! Love it!”
Cait Hutchings, Penryn Town Council
Thank you for a fantastic unique way of getting to know people. I met so many people while searching for my face and my pepole. I didnt think I would locate it until towards the end of the evening I was accosted by an eager chap screaming “I have your face” after a quick chat and swapping badges we said our goodbyes. It’s a great idea and a perfect icebreaker at any event. Thankyou again
Thanks Ken, really glad you enjoyed it!
